Throughout his prestigious career, Gianfranco Ferre designed numerous exquisite fashions, and later in his career, he got into the perfumery industry. He started his own company in 1974, and his first collection for women came out in 1978. A men’s collection would later come out in 1982. Thanks to his immense talent, he earned the nickname of “The Architect of Fashion.” Ferre earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including the Occhio d’Oro fashion award six times. His brand house started getting into fragrance-making in 1984 with the launch of a self-titled perfume.
